I actually gave the LG LCD away to someone, that is how much I disliked it. This TV I found to be perfect for a bedroom; picture is fine, color is fine, all controls are quite typical, but most importantly for me, is that I can actually hear this television. I was skeptical of purchasing a Television from an Internet source for fear of the obvious reasons, but after reading the prior reviews for this product I decided to chance it, and it was a great choice. This Haier's sound on a scale of 1 to 10 w/ 10 the best, an easy 9. Prior to my purchasing this Haier HTR20 I had a LG LCD, which for some reason that evades me, had its speakers facing downwards and backwards. Unless one was sitting in back of the television the fool thing could not be heard. Anyway, if you are shopping for a good quality mid size television this Haier might be worth your looking at.I have had my HTR20 for about six weeks now, so I have been living with it for a bit already. I would buy this item again.
I needed a 20" CRT screen that accepted multiple inputs at a reasonable price. I was concerned about this unknown name brand, but it was very hard to find this type of TV anymore. It works perfectly, with a very acceptible picture and no problems to this point.
This item made a nice gift and it works fine. Once, you adjust all of the channels. You can connect to cable and antenna for more channels as a alternative thanks great gift.
Pros: Great Picture, sound and most of the menu selections were simple.Con: Instructions incomplete and took experiments to figure out how to adjust picture size.
Good TV purchase for the price, plus the free shipping was a bonus that sold the TV. Good set for the bedroom or den. Would not be good for a large room. I was able to hook it up and progam the remote with little effort and had little trouble lifting the TV.
